On 3 February 2014 at the University of Warsaw representatives of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland will meet with Dr. Liane Hentschke, Director for International Cooperation CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development ) – the executive agency of the Brazilian scholarship program “Science without Borders”.
The meeting will be attended by President of CRASP, Prof. Wieslaw Banys, Honorary President of CRASP, Prof. Katarzyna Chalasinska-Macukow, presidents of conferences of rectors of the various types of HEIs, presidents of CRASP Committees as well as the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Jorge Kadri, Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Marcin Palys and Joanna Goclowska-Bolek, Director of Center for Latin American Studies of the University of Warsaw.
The meeting will focus on the discussion about the terms and prospects of Polish-Brazilian cooperation within the “Science without borders” programme and the implementation of the signed Memorandum of Understanding between CRASP and CNPq.
The delegation from Brazil will also pay a short visit to the premises of the University of Warsaw and Warsaw University of Technology. On 4 February 2014 Dr. Liane Hentschke will travel to Cracow to meet with representatives of the Jagiellonian University and the Cracow University of Technology.
