On 4-5 December 2012 the Gdańsk University of Technology hosted a conference intended to promote the project ‘eUczelnia (e-University) – development platform for higher education institutions’. The conference was accompanied by a meeting of the IT Infrastructure Committee of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland. CRASP President, HM Rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Wiesław Banyś was in attendance on day one of the event.
The conference provided an opportunity to present different issues related to digitisation of universities in the context of intellectual property protection. Hence, anti-plagiarism software was presented alongside solutions such as e-Dean’s Office, helpdesk, virtual campus, or e-Bursar’s Office.
The CRASP IT Infrastructure Committee met to discuss coordination of measures aiming at computerization of universities and to exchange recommendations on interoperability of systems in use.
