On 8 March 21013, the University of Warsaw commemorated the 45th anniversary of March’68 events. Representatives of the University authorities, accompanied by employees, students and friends of the University, gathered in front of a memorial plaque to commemorate the dramatic events that took place 45 years ago when the communist security service pacified student demonstrations.
The official guest list included e.g. representatives of the President of the Republic of Poland, former prime minister Mr. Tadeusz Mazowiecki, as well as persons directly involved in said events. CRASP President, HM Rector of the University of Silesia Prof. Wiesław Banyś was also in attendance.
