On 04 July 2013, the meeting of the Presidium of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland took place. On the 5th and 6th of July the meeting was chaired with the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn hosted the event.
The program of CRASP Presidium meeting covered, among other things, the election of members to General Council for Science and Higher Education, the presentation by the CRASP Commission for International Affairs’ on their opinions of the ‘’Study in Poland’’ program, a discussion about CRASP’s expectations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education with regards to the promotion of higher education abroad, and the cooperation of CRASP with the Employers of Poland.
During the meeting, held together by CRASP and the Polish Academy of Sciences, participants discussed, inter alia, issues concerning EU research funding included in the financial framework for 2014-2020, the initiative entitled ‘’Green Universities’’, the assessment of rules of evaluation and parameterization, legislative changes concerning scientific careers, and the amendment to Public Procurement Law in the context of scientific research.
