On 7 September 2012 in the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, the ceremony of Adam Mickiewicz Awards 2012 was held. The recipients of the award, granted since 2006 by the Committee for Supporting the French-German-Polish Cooperation, are people and institutions who contribute to the development of French-German-Polish cooperation within the framework of the Weimar Triangle.
Upon invitation from the President of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, HM Rector of the University of Silesia, Prof. Wiesław Banyś, the President of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, participated in the event.
