CRASP-EUA at a glance

The European University Association (EUA) represents and supports higher education institutions in 46 countries.

EUA is the result of a merger between the Association of European Universities (CRE) and the Confederation of European Union Rectors’ Conferences (CEURC), which took place in Salamanca, Spain on 31 March 2001.

CRASP has been the collective EUA member since the EUA’s formation in 2001; earlier CRASP was the member of CEURC.

44 Polish academic schools – all CRASP member institutions – are EUA members.

The year 2010: CRASP joins EUA–CDE

The EUA Council of Doctoral Education

EUA–CDE is an integral part of the European University Association. It was established in 2008. It creates a strong voice for European universities on doctoral education both inside Europe and internationally and contributes to enhancing the visibility of doctoral/graduate/research schools and programmes.
